Portsmouth fans have united behind a petition launched that would see them play in the Europa League next season!
Pompey beat Sunderland in the Checkatrade Trophy final on Sunday, winning on penalties after a dramatic 2-2 draw.
Aiden McGeady gave the Black Cats the lead in the showpiece but Nathan Thompson netted an 82nd-minute equaliser to send the game into extra-time.
Jamal Lowe then looked to have given Pompey victory, scoring in the 114th minute, before McGeady levelled the scoreline again in the 119th minute.
Penalties were subsequently needed and Pompey scored all five, with Lee Cattermole the Black Cats star to miss.
A jokey petition was launched before the game, calling on UEFA to allow the winners to play in the Europa League next season.
