Fiorentina and Atalanta have both been credited with an interest in the midfielder, who could well be surplus to requirements following Jack Wilshere’s arrival.
Obiang, who is believed to be on £55,000 a week at the London Stadium, moved to West Ham from Sampdoria in 2015, and has proved to be a pretty good acquisition.
Obiang missed a lot of last season with a serious knee injury, however, and the arrival of Manuel Pellegrini as the club’s new head coach could see the Spain-born midfielder move on.

The West Ham fans have been discussing Obiang on social media, and it would be fair to say that they are split when it comes to his future.
